Gary Nowak recognizes that Illinois is facing a gun violence epidemic. He is a fighter who will work hard to keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of dangerous people.

Nowak’s opponent, and current State Representative, Dennis Reboletti, has repeatedly sided with the gun lobby and has opposed strengthening Illinois gun laws including a crucial vote earlier this year against a bill that would have extended Brady background checks to all handgun purchasers. The bill lost by two votes.

Gary Nowak has pledged to support Brady criminal background checks on all handgun purchasers in our state.

Voting irresponsibly should have consequences. We need to send legislators like Dennis Reboletti home after they fail to support sensible gun laws. That is why we must elect Gary Nowak.
