Help Elect Bill Durston to Congress in California's 3rd District He'll fight to keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of dangerous people
Dear California Brady Campaign Member,
The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, along with its California Brady Campaign Chapters, has endorsed Bill Durston for Congress in California's 3rd Congressional District.
On November 4, when you go to the polls, you will have an important decision to make about the future of public safety in California. When it comes to representing you in Congress, the choice is clear: Bill Durston will fight to keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of dangerous people.
As a practicing emergency room physician and a former Marine and Vietnam veteran who received the Navy Commendation medal for bravery under combat, Dr. Durston knows more than most people about the horrors of gun violence. He served as Injury Prevention Chairperson of the California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians from 2000 to 2007.
Bill Durston will fight for common sense gun laws to reduce gun violence in America. On the other hand, his opponent, Dan Lungren, has obstructed efforts to pass strong gun laws to make our neighborhoods safer. He even voted against restrictions on .50-caliber sniper rifles.
This November, we must elect candidates who will support common sense gun laws to reduce gun violence in America. We know we will have a partner in Bill Durston who will fight with us for sensible gun laws to protect you, your family, and your community.
Please support Bill Durston with a contribution of your money or your time, and most importantly your vote.
On Tuesday, November 4, vote for Bill Durston for Congress in California’s 3rd Congressional District.
Sincerely,
