Amanda Howland has dedicated her career to working with families in our community. She is a former Special Education teacher, working with emotionally disturbed and behavior-disordered students. She was an Assistant Principal and a Principal in elementary education and then went to Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is also of counsel for The Children's Law Group serving Lake, Cook, DuPage and McHenry counties helping Illinois families.

Amanda Howland understands the need to keep our families safe from gun violence. She will work hard to pass common sense gun laws to keep dangerous guns out of the hands of dangerous people.
