On November 4, when you go to the polls, you will have an important decision to make about the future of public safety in California. When it comes to representing you in the State Senate, the choice is clear: Hannah-Beth Jackson will fight to keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of dangerous people.

Hannah-Beth Jackson is a former California Assembly Member and a strong supporter of gun violence prevention laws. She has dedicated her career as an elected official to keeping families and communities safe from gun violence.

On the other hand, her opponent, Tony Strickland, repeatedly sided with the gun lobby as an Assembly Member, including his votes against banning military-style assault weapons and against consumer product safety standards for handguns.

Hannah-Beth Jackson did the right thing and stood with our police officers and voted to ban military-style assault weapons in the California Assembly.
