Keep Our Communities Safe: Stop the Open Carrying of Guns in Public
Urge the Public Safety Committee to Pass AB 1934

Dear California Brady Campaign Member,

On Tuesday, April 20, the Assembly Public Safety Committee will consider important legislation, AB 1934, to ban the carrying of openly displayed guns in public.

Lately, there has been an increase in controversial events where gun owners bring their exposed weapons into restaurants, strapped to their hips with their ammunition nearby. According to a gun lobby website, "With a little practice, one can easily load a handgun in under two seconds."

Email the Assembly Public Safety Committee and Urge Them to Pass AB 1934: Prohibit the Carrying of Openly Displayed Guns in Public.

Those who carry exposed guns in public are not required to undergo any training, and they may even be prohibited from possessing a gun! This puts our families and communities at risk.

Help us pass this important measure that will put an end to the open carrying of guns in public!

Sincerely,
