Initiatives To End Gun Violence Information, Activities, and Resources
Living our faith in ways that build stronger people, families and communities is a powerful demonstration of our commitment to faith-based living. The loss of nearly 30,000 Americans each year to gun violence demands prophetic response from the faith community. Our challenge is to call people of faith to action, to awaken them to the spiritual issues at the core of gun violence, and to give them the necessary tools to build vital gun violence prevention ministries in their congregations and communities
Use these activities as guides for developing your unique expression and demonstration of a commitment to faith and life. Incorporate this work into your regular activities and join the thousands who are working to help us build and save lives from senseless gun violence.

"Our goal must be not peace in our time but peace for all time."
-Harry S. Truman (1884-1972) Informal remarks, Galesberg, Illinois, 1950
"All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort, and effort means work. Work is not a curse; it is the prerogative of intelligence... the measure of civilization."
-Calvin Coolidge
