Resources and Materials
The face of gun violence is every face: White, Hispanic, Asian and African American, young and old, mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers. Statistics simply cannot convey the intensity of pain and magnitude of loss suffered by those who have lost a friend or loved one to gun violence. Gun homicide and gun suicide create a unique set of circumstances for surviving family members and friends. Though working with victims is a great challenge, the promise of hope and the possibility for healing and transformation are always present. The materials in this section are taken from a variety of sources and will help guide you as you undertake this crucial work.Gun Violence Prevention and the Faith Community Resources
